Lets Know our Mrs India 2018 Finalist :

  1. How you start your day?

Mrs. India Finalist: I start my day by thanking God for the wonderful life he bestowed on me and my family. I follow it up with Yoga and meditation that keep me energized the whole day.

  1. Your most memorable moment of the Year 2018?

Mrs. India Finalist: My most memorable day was when I was crowned as a finalist for the prestigious Mrs. India 2018 pageant. It was a dream come true. This strengthened my belief that we should always dream big. I was being congratulated for my own achievements as an individual and not for the accomplishments of my husband or my children. After this memorable event, my daughter told me that I fulfilled her dream of participating in a beauty pageant.

  1. What You would love to do in your free time?

Mrs. India Finalist: As an army officer’s wife, I have loved working as a silent soldier, carrying out my social responsibilities. I spend quality time with families and widows of Army Jawans to resolve their problems, develop their skillset and offer them opportunities to live independent and fulfilling lives. These days, I love to interact with cancer patients, offer them support, and celebrate festivals with them. Bringing positively in their lives with full zeal gives me immense pleasure and satisfaction.

  1. What is Your Favorite Outfit?

Mrs. India Finalist: My favorite outfit is saree. A saree adds a quintessential touch of sensuality, gorgeousness and elegance to one’s personality’s. I also love that it offers different style and draping options. I can never get bored of sarees.

  1. What is your favorite Vacation destination, how would you plan it?

Mrs. India Finalist: My favorite vacation destination is Philadelphia in USA, where my daughter is pursuing her MBA at Wharton Business School. I am planning to go there during her graduation ceremony, to see her academic life and the scenic beauty of the heritage capital of USA. I plan to crown her for accomplishing a major milestone in her life since she always wanted to participate in the beauty pageant but could not do so because of her studies.

  1. If you can bring awareness about one Cause in the Society what that could be and Why?

Mrs. India Finalist: As an educationist, I believe that besides academic and vocational knowledge, a child deserves the education of virtues. To become good human beings, our children should be given insights to important values such as mutual respect, humility and compassion. Since education without these virtues is unusable, I constantly strive towards bringing awareness to this cause and wish to extend my area of influence through this pageant.

  1. What is Your Favorite Dish you love to relish anytime?

Mrs. India Finalist: My favorite dish is Rajma with Rice and I can relish this in all three meals. As a person, I believe in sharing everything. But even as a doting mother, I feel reluctant sharing this dish with my own children because I love it so much.

  1. If you can eradicate one issue of the society what that could be?

Mrs. India Finalist: If I can eradicate one issue of the society, that would certainly be Illiteracy. The eradication of illiteracy will enlighten the lives of people, make them self-sufficient, prosperous and happy. Illiteracy gives rise to unemployment, which leads to poverty leading to a vicious circle. Literate people will wield a powerful weapon, which will remove disparities and transform their lives.

  1. What is the Mantra of your Life?

Mrs. India Finalist: My mantra of life is to spread happiness and positively. I realize that life should be like a candle that illuminates the lives of others, before it melts completely. So, I try to bring sunshine in the life of everyone around me.

  1. One New thing that You want to learn

Mrs. India Finalist: Dance has always been my passion but I never got an opportunity to perform professionally on stage. I visualize giving a performance to an audience of thousands every time I listen to Bollywood numbers. I thank Mrs. India Punjab for giving me this opportunity to perform in front of august audience on the day of Grand finale. Now, I aspire to pursue this passion religiously and learn other forms of dance.
