Lets Know our Mrs India 2018 Finalist :
- How you start your day?
Mrs India Finalist: I wake up each morning and look at my son’s face; for some moments I keep looking at his face and then thank almighty for giving me this second life. You can call it mother’s love or that I see god in my kid. His smile is pure and unaffected by superficialities of the outside world. He is the positive start to my each day.
- Your most memorable moment of the Year 2018?
Mrs India Finalist: After winning Mrs. India Karnataka – Congeniality, I was approached by several people who were going through or recovering from serious health issues. It was heartening to see that I could inspire some “Hope and Courage” into their lives by being a beacon of strength.
- What You would love to do in your free time?
Mrs India Finalist: I love gardening & spending time with my kid; plants, flowers are like children; you nurture them and they will grow into their own true self.
- What is Your Favourite Outfit?
Mrs India Finalist: I can mostly be found in white or black Kurti and blue jeans. I like simple, comfortable, and classy outfits lending grace and affable charm to my personal style.
- What is your favourite Vacation destination, How would you plan it ?
Mrs India Finalist: I have wanted to visit McLeodGanj for the longest time; not as tourist but as a traveller. Just want to pack few white Tees & blue jeans and head there with husband and kid. Book myself into local’s house for 2 weeks or so, enjoy the snow covered mountain peaks, take a walk down the dusty not-so-often beaten track, chase a few squirrels, lie in the shade of long pine cone & cedar trees, spend afternoon in some Tibetan sundry cafes with million stories to share with the local people.
- If you can bring awareness about one Cause in the Society what that could be and Why?
Mrs India Finalist: Indian society is in the state of flux and it is changing for the better. Among all the issues that plague us today, I would want to take girl child education as the purpose of my life.
Education is the first and most important step towards making someone aware, confident and financially independent; Aware of her fundamental/legal rights, confident to assert herself in the society and put forth her viewpoint and financially independent so that she doesn’t need to depend on anyone else. An educated girl makes sure that her progeny also get right to dignified life.
- What is Your Favourite Dish you love to relish anytime?
Mrs India Finalist: Every time I close my eyes; I see myself doing puja in Kashi Vishwanath Mandir in the morning & then roaming in the narrow “Vishwanath gulys of Varanasi”. I am relishing “garma-garma crisp oorad Kachaudis with aloo makhana sabzi tossed with scoop of spicy green chilly chutney”; having had good wholesome 4-5 kachaudis & I would dip my taste buds in 100 grams of “Jalebis with Rabdi”.
- If you can eradicate one issue of the society what that could be?
Mrs India Finalist: RAPE; I would eradicate Rape.
- What is the Mantra of your Life?
Mrs India Finalist: My today’s self is better than yesterday’s version of me & I will be much better tomorrow than today. I live life with optimism, believe in conscious shared existence and improving myself each day.
- One New thing that You want to learn
Mrs India Finalist: I want to learn “Pranic Healing” so that I can help people who want overcome major health/surgery setbacks.
